In this episode I talk to Lindsey Schiel about the importance of leadership in the home and the influence that good leaders can have on those around them.
Introduction
With over 17 years of leadership experience in the utility industry, I understand firsthand how strong leadership can catalyze meaningful progress. As a married mother of four navigating family life, I also grasp the importance of compassionate, values-driven leadership at home and in the community.
My passion for leadership stems from witnessing the incredible influence that good leaders can have on those around them. Whether it’s spearheading key initiatives to improve operations and safety at work, leading my family with patience and integrity, or volunteering to better our community, I'm driven to empower others and spark positive change.
My extensive background leading in the utility sector coupled with my diverse leadership experience outside of work gives me a unique perspective on the challenges facing leaders today.

Laurie Gunning Grossman is a storyteller, group facilitator, and creator of Hold the Light podcast, a show for lifelong learners who are curious about the ways we can deepen our connection to our personal development and spiritual life.
Through her 20+ years as a writer, editorial director for online publications, and podcast host and producer, it’s been Laurie’s passion to share stories and ideas throughout her career.
While she has worked in the world of pregnancy, parenting, and home design for many years, what she is personally most interested in are the ways that we design ourselves, from the inside out.

Annie Barry is an accredited practising dietitian and health coach, a food and wine lover and someone who believes in choosing progress over perfection.
Annie runs her own online consulting business where she provides a 12 week individually tailored coaching program to help women in peri-menopause manage their weight and navigate symptoms without dieting or restrictions.
Annie believes that it is less about the number on the scale and more about empowering women to feel good and function at their best.
