In this episode I talk to Amarya Morales about how climbing the corporate ladder sent her to hospital with burnout and a trip to India changed her life. Amarya says "How you start your day sets the mood for the rest of your day."

Introduction
In her ‘past life’, and for over 10 years, Amayra was busy climbing the corporate ladder until she hit her lowest health point – she burnt herself out and ended up in hospital. Amayra started to question every aspect of her life and realised that her time in the corporate world was over.
She packed her bags and bought a one-way ticket to India to fulfil her dream of becoming a yoga teacher.
During her time in India, she became very sick and through a series of fortunate events, ended up at an Ayurvedic clinic.
For Amayra, this was the beginning of the end because through the ancient wisdom of Ayurveda she was able to connect the dots of her symptoms, and find good health again.
Because of her first-hand experience with Ayurveda, and realising the power of this ancient medicine, Amayra went on to study Ayurveda.
She now realises that her health challenges were a gift because it’s something she had to overcome to get to where she is today so that she can share her message from a place of experience, love and compassion.
Amayra now understands that her Dharma (soul’s mission) is to help women regain control of their health, life and happiness.
She loves working with women and seeing the progress and transformation they achieve through their hard work and commitment to change.
Amayra aims to empower women to see their kitchen as their pharmacy, sleep as medicine, movement as well-being, mindfulness practices as a powerful tool, self-care as vital and connection to Pachamama as healing.

In this episode I talk to Katrina Jamison about the transition from being a manager to an executive and her Four P's Process.

Introduction
Katrina Jamison is a leadership and business strategist supporting newly promoted female corporate executives and female entrepreneurs.  A pharmacist by education, Katrina had a successful corporate career that spanned almost two decades.  During her 12 years with the world’s largest retailer, she was rapidly promoted, won multiple company awards, had P&L responsibility for billions of dollars and thousands of associate lives, and was living out her mental plan of retiring from the organization.
It was her last promotion into the executive ranks that changed her entire professional trajectory.  She, like so many other new female executives, thought the executive seat would allow her to finally stop sacrificing and start living her life.  Yet Katrina found herself struggling to find her voice, feel deserving of the role, and resolve the shame she felt for being unprepared to “exec correctly.”   Over the course of a year, she quickly created her executive brand and excelled.  But the experience left a lasting impression.  She realized she couldn’t sit back and allow other amazingly talented women to struggle, doubt, or give up.  This was the kickstart to Legend Leaders.
Since its inception, Legend has existed to help women eliminate their executive leadership struggles (in both the corporate and entrepreneurial worlds) by teaching them to create and strengthen their executive brands.
